When you want a product with PROPERTIES that can withstand abrasion, structural stress, chemical deterioration, and heavy wear over long periods of time, you need EZ-LAST POLYURETHANE. In 1992 George Nybakken, Ph.D., of Uniroyal Chemical Company, Inc., conducted immersion tests of rubber versus EZ-LAST Polyurethane engine mounts using bus oil and fuel. He stated his conclusions in a presentation to the Southern California Rapid Transit District: "Exact lifetimes are hard to predict from these accelerated immersion tests; however, lifetime improvements of up to twenty times are possible, based on the data."
ALL POLYURETHANES ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL! At TPC we take special care to understand how your product will be used. We then select the proper mix of Polyurethane components that will best withstand the elements your product will be exposed to. If you are replacing a rubber part, we carefully consider the hardness of that original part. We color code all parts by hardness to make it easier for you to get the right part for your application and more easily maintain your inventory level. The CORRECT BLEND of Polyurethane is a critical factor in its effectiveness. Although cheaper urethanes or rubber parts may seem less expensive, you should consider all labor and downtime costs involved in repairing or replacing those parts. EZ-LAST Polyurethane products will save you the "hidden costs" that can become far more expensive than the part itself.
